Definitive Design / IKEA Smila Blomma & Bagge Children’s Light Mounting Bracket

Project Scope

Our goal was to design a mounting bracket which would be completely tamper-proof while retaining the preexisting flower (Blomma) and ladybug (Bagge) designs. The bracket also needed to be hidden from ‘curious little fingers’.

The Result

The fun and playful design of Anna Efverlund’s Blomma and Bagge Children’s Lamps was maintained and the function enhanced by this robust, tamperproof, and easy to assemble mounting bracket.
