Zero Water / Z Pitcher

Project Scope

Zero Water selected Definitive Design to design and engineer an attractive and innovative water pitcher to complement their best-in-class water filter. Among their goals were:

• An attractive pitcher with separate tap and purified water chambers that is ergonomically pleasing to the user
• Incorporation of Zero Water’s complete filtration cartridges and the ability to replace them easily
• A lid with a pour spout
• A push button actuated spout at the base of the handle to allow users the option of filling their glass directly from the refrigerator
• A separate chamber for their water tester that allows the user to know when to replace the filter cartridges

The Result:

Arguably the most attractive refrigerator water pitcher on the market, the Z Pitcher also includes the added convenience of a pour spout, located on the base, so that the pitcher does not need to be removed from the refrigerator.
