Project Scope

Develop a unique quad cane that minimizes the effort the patient needs to continuously pick up the cane.  The results are a patented quad cane with wheels and an integrated braking system, colorful and enveloped in attractive styling.

• Optimize design for efficient and economic off-shore manufacturing
• Create and analyze physical prototype models to verify functionality.
• Develop packaging specification for shipping
• Manage all engineering documentation for off-shore manufacturing.
• Received several patents for innovative features.

The Result

The Rolling Cane provides easier and smoother walking experience than other cane products.  The added features such as the lower handles that automatically activate the brake when you get out of a chair make this product superior to all others.
