Water Tech Pool Blaster

Project scope: WaterTech contracted Definitive to design the first battery-powered underwater pool vacuum.

The PoolBuster packs commercial grade cleaning power into a residential pool vacuum. And Definitive provided soup-to-nuts services in the product design—from conceptual sketches to full engineering documentation for off-shore manufacturing. Designed to clean the largest in-ground pools with ease and comfort, the vacuum either attaches to a pole or roams the pool surface on its own. The flexible vacuum head and integrated spot/corner cleaning nozzle ensure that even the tricky spots will be cleaned. Multiple vacuum heads were designed for different pool types and  prototype testing made certain the product would work on concrete or gunite surfaces. The PoolBuster features a waterproof electronic enclosure and an integral handle for easy lifting. The PoolBuster vacuum has revolutionized and simplified the pool cleaning market.
